and the beat goes on...


Someone stole John's wallet and scattered its contents in the marsh. Granted, they kept the cash & credit cards.


Rude.

But somehow the annoyance, hassle, and monetary loss don't seem so great when we realize it's really not that important. The things that really matter are things that noone can steal away. Our love for each other. Our growing little family. Our faith and hope. That's reassuring and makes my heart fuzzy.

So maybe this was just one of life's little priority checks. C'est la vie.

  1. truly. =) i felt that way about this whole surgery thing. I have no complaints, really. It was just a blip, and much to be thankful about came from it. God is good, life is good, mmm mmm good.

  2. How odd that I just lost my wallet last week! I know exactly how you feel! I didn't know you guys lived near a marsh...I pray that what was lost is restored to you 100 fold! :) LOVE!

  3. What a positive attitude! I'm sorry about the wallet - losing important things is one of the worst feelings, but you've turned it into a learning experience for your benefit. I too hope it is returned to you! Good karma!
